:::{admonition} Tip for optimal camera alignment
:class: tip
To fine tune the camera angle for optimal alignment just barely unscrew the screw that connects the GoPro to the clip attachment and slighty adjust the camera angle. To avoid that the camera is tilted to one side make sure that the "GoPro" logo on the suction mount is facing straight up when attaching the suction mount.

### Troubleshooting: Upside down menu <a id="troubleshooting-upside-down-menu"></a>
If the menu is displayed upside down on the camera screen as in the following image, the images themselves will also be saved with the wrong orientation.

```{figure} ../../../fig/AILAS_upside_down.jpg
---
name:
width: 400px
---
The camera menu is displayed upside down. Fix this before starting to record.
```

Do the following to fix this before starting to record:

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the settings menu.

2. Turn off the orientation lock:

::::{grid} 2
:::{grid-item}

```{figure} ../../../fig/AILAS_orientation_locked.jpg
---
name: orientation locked
width: 375 px
---
Wrong setting: The orientation lock is turned on.
```

:::

:::{grid-item}

```{figure} ../../../fig/AILAS_orientation_unlocked.jpg
---
name: orientation unlocked
width: 375 px
---
Correct setting: The orientation lock is turned off.
```

:::
::::

3. Scan the QR code again to make sure that no other settings were changed by accident.
